I don’t think WKU would join the MW. If they were to leave, it would probably be to join the AAC, since the AAC is the biggest non power 4 conference.

Yeah I knew that was a little far stretched but if the MWC did have Oregon St. and Washington St. maybe that would be a little motive but besides that I do think WKU will be moving up soon to a new Conference.

Just an FYI, Oregon State and Washington State OWN the PAC whatever Brand by Court Order, so they WILL NOT give that up to join the MWC!!! NOW, with that being said, I could see both Oregon State and Washington State inviting teams from the MWC to create a NEW PAC-11 Conference. Check below or your last video!!!

If MWC didn’t leave when Calford was still in the PAC, than they aren’t leaving now. Not without some incentive, like all the money and the assets they won in court. This is a business now, this much is clear, so don’t look to MWC to do you any favors. Either pay those schools a shit load of money and secure a better tv contract or fuck off, cause without those 2 things none of the MWC is jumping ship to take marching orders from two forgotten schools.

i think for MW to come close to PAC-12 levels its programs need to build a reputation for playing at that level consistently, and i think once that starts to happen, big 12 or acc will steal them away.

Wow, can't get that time back. That was painful to watch, sorry to be so blunt but it feels like you all did about 5 minutes worth of research and then threw up a video. No way we take Western Kentucky or that they would ever want to join. If the MWC secures OSU and WSU, and that is a big if, we would be a much better conference than any of the other G5. As it sits right now I would say we are the top G5 conference but not way out in front. So no we wouldn't replace the PAC. Also there is no longer a P5. Its the power 2 and then everybody else. Maybe the only thing you got right in this video is that having 12 or 14 teams is no longer a big conference. The MWC should expand whether or not we get OSU and WSU by going after teams like UTEP, NMSU, UNT, UTSA, Texas State, and Rice. If we were able to pull all that off, that would be a pretty good conference to watch and each team would still be able to have a more regional schedule. There would be some schools that would be harder to get than others on that list. UTEP and NMSU would sign up immediately but it would be more challenging for the others. Rice would likely we the most reluctant. If any don't want to come we could shift attention to schools like Tulsa or Arkansas State which I think both would jump at the offer.

Here's my thought on things: The BIG is now at 18-teams and need six more to get to "SUPER CONFERENCE" Status (24 teams), and here's how I see it playing out. #1. The BIG wants Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina and Virginia because of "LOCATION"..."LOCATION"..."LOCATION" (Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Richmond etc...), that plus their academics and AAU status!!! #2. High School Football Recruiting!!! #3. Georgia Tech OFFERS more to the BIG then Rutgers did then and/or does now... At least Georgia Tech has a Winning History!!! "NEWS FLASH"... PLUS, they'll get/take Cal and Stanford "CHEAP" after the collapse of the ACC... For the SAME Damn Reasons!!! Now their footprint is Coast-to-Coast, and they will have MOST of the Major TV Markets, PLUS, and this is The BIG Reason, they are "NOW", in "The HEART of DIXIE"!!! That's their plan to create one of two 24-Team Semi-Pro Super Conferences and EXIT the NCAA! The SEC counters by taking Clemson, Florida State, North Carolina State and Virginia Tech with the latter two teams helping to encroach into BIG Territory!!! After taking the four ACC Schools (Florida and South Carolina have ZERO to say about the additions of Clemson and FSU, just like Arkansas, Missouri and Texas A&M had ZERO to say about the addition of Texas... It's a "If You Don't Like It... You're FREE to Leave the SEC ANYTIME you'd like). To get to a 24-Team Super Conference, the SEC would need to add four more teams, and since MOST of the SEC are Land Grant Institutions, NONE of the Metro Schools left in the ACC fill the bill... THUS, the SEC has no place else to go EXCEPT WEST! So, "THE ONLY PLACE TO TURN"... The Big-12, and to keep up with the BIG (Coast-to-Coast), they "POACH Arizona, Colorado, Kansas (to APPEASE Kentucky) and Utah! That's your two "SEMI-PRO, SUPER CONFERECNES", and at that point they "WILL BREAK AWAY" from the NCAA to create their own playoffs and championships in ALL SPORTS... After all, it's about "Making and KEEPING as much money as you possibly can, and to HELL with the rest of" College Athletics"!!! New BIG: EAST POD: Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, Rutgers, Virginia. LAKES POD: Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue. Let ESPN create a Separate Basketball Tournament for them!!! The other 80+ FBS Schools have ZERO NEED to continue to play the BIG and SEC in any sports going forward and WILL Survive with their own "COLLEGE SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS"!!!
