College football playoff prediction: 1)Ohio state (have lots of returning talent) 2)Alabama (They just bring in too much each year to not consider) 3)USC(them and UCLA brought a lot of guys in, plus if they win in conference they should have too many troubles getting in) 4) TCU (no one in big 12 can compete this year, but come in 4th because not having a conference championship hurts) Clemson wins the ACC because Florida state can't replace Winston with Maguire/ Francois. But just don't have enough to boost them past other conferences. National champs: Ohio st over USC by a hair. (I can't make a case against Ohio state so it's just the right pick) Conference winners: ACC: Clemson and Georgia Tech (proved they can play with a lot of teams last year, not the best recruiting but brought a lot of people) Big 10: Ohio state and Nebraska or Wisconsin (both lost a big playmaker in the backfield so their offense will be based of who can fill in the position best) Big 12: TCU (conference championships let you play a top 15 team at the end of the season, they have to go undefeated or have a 1 loss season to a team that was good, it will be very hard to climb if they fall too far) Pac 12: USC And Oregon (they will still be a talented team overall, but Mariota is not easy to replace, they are going to be good, but USC and the south had great recruiting class this year Sec: Alabama and Georgia ( offense will not be a problem for them, Chubb can carry the load for Georgia and possibly make a heisman case. Dude is powerful and they will have a good defense.) Heisman: treyvone Boykin (I probably spelled it wrong :p), Nick Chubb, who ever starts for Ohio state. david smith If I'm not mistaken it was the QB from Eastern Washington, maybe Eastern Illinois? Some kind of "Eastern" FCS team..I agree though, I like the picks. Only one I think may be off is TCU, if only because of the BIG 12s reputation for top teams losing randomly. Oklahoma lost to Texas two years ago, and it was close this season, and as a Texas fan I know that they aren't the same team as when they had VY or even Colt at QB. Pac-12 can be scary too, look at Arizona this season...I like Ohio State though, they were pretty dominant their last 3 games

USC did absolutely nothing last year they have to right to be ranked in the top 5 the top 10 hell they shouldn't be ranked period. So they brought in a good class so has Michigan the last five years and look at what they have done. Should be OSU bama TCU MSU and Oregon top 5

Slade Mosher first of that wasent a death penalty second your not the only ones who lost scholarships Ohio state had zero depth after tress violations and yet we manage to rebound after one year which four plays go another way and we have a good year but we go undefeated the next year then this year we had 4 upperclassmen play not just start but play and we won a national title. Penn state got it worse than you and still managed to comeback better than USC so its not the penalties that only hurt but your dumbass coach in kiffin that hurt. And lastly if playing in college for experience means I know nothing then please give me your resume.
