Your bed is sooo high, I LOVE it! True the closet was small, but very tall. so it seems as though everything would fit still, which is great. That was also a heavy duty makeup box! cool video

Hi I'm just wondering how your other roommates felt about you putting your bed and desk up against the window? Or if the layout was some you guys decided on beforehand. And how are you all getting along now? I've always been interested as to the dynamics of 3 girls sharing one room. You did a great job with the decorating and organizing btw.

I asked and everyone was fine with it because I moved my bed three months into the school year. My desk was always in front of the window which I wanted because I wanted the natural light to do my makeup. We didn't decide on the layout beforehand, but I knew I really wanted to be next to the window, but keep in mind it gets really cold at night so you might want to take that into consideration. I don't mind it because I have a giant blanket. One of my roommates is my best friend and the other one we are just kinda living with each other but I still totally like her.

So I’ll be attending Fordham LC next semester, and I was wondering how the rooming situation works. Do you get to share your preference as far as the number of roommates you have (doubles or triples), or is it completely random? Also, this is so random, but how did you get the jackpot of getting the bed with that view? I want to try my hardest to get the bed closest to the window!!! 😂

so you do get a chance to pick your roommates but I decided not to because I was lazy and I didn't really care. You will get the preference form sometime during the summer. And as far as the bed view, I actually rearranged the room a few months into school and asked my roommates if they were fine with it which they were but if you get there super early or first and start moving things, people can't really say anything. But because my bed is like that I virtually have no privacy in terms of when the door opens so its a bit of a give and take, but I don't care too much about that personally. My advice is to get there first and move your stuff around to how you want it

jessie mayfield Lincoln center definitely does not but Rose Hill does. That's the major difference between the two campuses

As a freshman do you get to choose what kind of room you're in? Like double vs triple/floor/odd vs even number room?

you get to put in your preferences to which room type you would like but you don't get to pick the specific room

@@petenrita yes by room type I mean double or triple and not an apartment and the elevator does take a long time if you are going on it during peak times like 30 minutes before a class starts. And if an elevator is broken then yes the wait times can get very long.

Lincoln Center people don't really go over to Rose hill unless it is by force and we don't really go to any of their sporting events. If you want a traditional college experience I would suggest going to rose hill since LC has 0 school spirit. Everyone here is really into their own thing

I don't think it really matters as long as they are not in the theatre or dance department since those schedules are vastly different however everyone else at Fordham has the same start and end times for classes so it doesn't really matter. I think that is something that you have to talk to your roommate to figure out.

It's been great so far honestly and I've adjusted pretty well. The classes aren't that hard, but that depends on the professors that you get (in terms of how much work you have, etc.) I've adjusted pretty well, but since Lincoln Center is such a small school (which I'm not used to because I came from a big high school) I had to get used to seeing the same people every day. I honestly really like the Fordham LC and even though it wasn't my first choice, it ended up being the right choice.

Well in Mckeon all the sizes of the dorms are triples. So you might get lucky and get the master suite triple or a triple that is smaller than mine so it really is a toss-up. If you don't feel like sharing a bathroom with three other people then maybe a triple is the way to go, but a double can be really nice and you generally have more space for yourself if you configure the room right. I would suggest picking your roommate because I went random and I got really lucky. As a freshman, I would suggest living in McKeon because that's where all the freshman are and that's how I built all my friendships
