College is Overrated! - Is College Worth It? // Just A Teenager

Today I will talk about a very controversial topic... College!
I will be sharing my opinion on College and why I don't think is it worth it. Please keep in mind that this is just my opinion and it is up to you to decide if College is overrated or not. I just feel that in society high schoolers are always being told that we HAVE to go to College, but maybe that isn't the right path for us.

You are so right! I completely agree with you! If you would like to pursue a profession such as being a doctor, lawyer, or scientist, go to college. If not, then pursue what you love to do whether that is learning languages, sports, business, or anything really. You can learn anything online. Just have discipline, a strong work ethic and smart ideas, and you are much closer to that goal. You don’t have to go to college. You cannot please everyone. Do what you love in life. You don’t have to listen to everyone. Learn as many languages as you can. Who cares what people say about what you should do and what you shouldn’t do. Enjoy life! There will be many people who won’t support you if you choose not to go to college and I know this because of experience. Society expects lots of people to go to college and thinks people that go to college are “smarter” but it isn’t necessarily the case. Trust the process and inspire others just like you have inspired me with my Spanish learning techniques. Thank you for understanding and reading my comment.

@@GalaSalv Now, October 19th, 2022, I am a college student studying Business Administration in Accounting and boy, times has changed. I agree with my past self a year ago about alot of things but now that I've thought about it, I also tend to disagree with my past self as well. You should listen to those who have gone before you and are successful in life. College is a great experience to explore your interests and gives you the opportunity to grow as a person and as an academic scholar. Whether college is for you or not, I can assure you college will give you the skills, connections, and experiences within the field you are passionate about. Especially in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, the demand is really high there. Don't be rebellious like I was a year ago. Consider your resources and think critically about why you should or should not go to college. Ask those who are successful why they decided to go to college and see if it aligns with what you want to do. That is my advice. If it is not too late, I would want you to reconsider college if you haven't already.

I am from India and here it's totally different college fee are less and talking about private colleges are expensive and it matters so much from which college you are like if you are from government or private college and student from government college are appreciated most and private college students are not appreciated.
