i just finished 6th going to 7th and where i live we don’t even have college (like that) we have Kindy (2-5) Primary (5-11) Intermediate (11-13) College (13-18) University (is a choice but most people go and the longest is 5 years depending on what you study and rarely it will go over that)

just in case you guys cared but if you have a top bunk at a camp or something take the whole mattress off and but the sheets on and then put it back on the top and finish the bed (only works with smaller/thinner mattresses)

FYI (to all of my fellow and future UCSB students) the dorm walls are push pin walls so I would invest in those if u want to put decorations instead of command hooks or putty (those work better on the wood or any other surface)

i’m not entirely sure what the specifics are but most first years live in dorms. all you have to do if you want to live in the res halls is fill out an online housing form on the housing website once you get accepted! the deadline is on the housing website but i think its in may or june!

Missy Vollmer hi! i’m a fourth year at UCSB and i believe that if you stay two years in on campus-housing, you are guaranteed the other two years! for the most part you’re are guaranteed on-campus housing. it’s only risky for those who do off-campus housing and want to return to dorms!

at most schools in the US there are usually just 2 people but at ucsb there are so many people that most dorms are triples. but there are still double rooms too!

Decisions come out Tuesday and I know I wont get in and I just feel so dumb that I didn’t try harder to get better grades so I cant even be mad. It’s still my dream school though so I’m gonna try to cc and then transfer
