@@lucy7574 It's been so sad watching America's covid response I literally choked on my coffee when I heard the US President comment on my country recently, and said that we had failed I live in New Zealand we went nearly four months with zero community transmission, we currently have one city in level 3 lockdown and are doing EVERYTHING right He said that my Prime Minister had been smug and "showing off" to make America look bad ?!?! And laughed at us because we have 9 new cases

If you were referring to the Spanish flu this happened in the early 1900’s. There were more deaths yes but 1: that doesn’t mean people can just go around spreading the virus all day because every person dead counts. And 2: this was around 100 years ago so people were less advanced, didn’t have masks or sanitiser and didn’t have ways to communicate online and do everything online.
