I have a question... maybe it sounds silly, but, when you pay the tuition or the semester, do those costs include the price of the apartment (or room), or it doesn't cost you anything, or do you pay it separately? That's my question, actually I'm not from USA, and I don't know much about universities, but I'm interested in it :)))

Its not silly, but once you are into the school there will be a breakdown of your tuition which should include your tuition as well and you can pay it all or choose a payment plan to pay things individually. I think its great that you are looking into universities here it could be so rewarding and fun!!

hey girl and yes I loved living in ecv! I will say it is what u make it living in either space. Mistake I made was not going to events that they posted to meet people and hoping I met them naturally and though that did happen it took a lot longer. The high rises are definitely more social because everyone is new and looking for friends but in ecv it just more relaxed living. A lot of the black people stay in ecv so that was cool because its like u meet a lot more people in buga. My advice to you be really decide what is is you want out of your freshman experience as far as being apart of buga or making a lot of friends fast and being very central to campus for events and things of that nature. Having my own room was very important to me because I didn't want communal bathrooms, everything else was just a bonus.

Hey!! It is fairly far from the main side of campus. It can take about 30 minutes walking but the buses run super frequently that it has never been an issue for me. However there are forms super close to the main side of campus and one being built right now that is going to be super nice!

Just make sure you pay your housing deposit ASAP even if you're not certain this is the school you are gonna go to because it'll put you higher up on the list to pick housing and you can potentially get a spot in ECV!

@@ecug1g1if you are referencing the housing deposit, no I didn’t pay extra. Everyone has to pay the housing deposit at some point. But if you are comparing it to other dorms on campus it is a bit more expensive compared to your high/low rises

It depends on which dorm you are staying in. As far as during breaks yes you can leave your stuff but as far summer, it depends on how long your contract is. Most of them end at the end of 2nd semester which does not include summer. And literally no need to apologize Im happy to help! And more than likely you won't be in the same dorm for all four years it usually changes yearly

It is a bit more than your traditional share a room communal bathroom dorms but I just paid by housing deposit as soon as I was accepted to ensure I picked housing as early as possible!
