To lift with your knees: get into a semi squat postition/full squat if something is that heavy. You then secure the item in your arms, and use your glutes to push your body and the item away from the floor. Turn your knees very slightly out, and make sure your knees do not go over your toes through the entire motion. Hopefully this could help :) there's always a YT video on it tho HAHA 😅
