Hey everyone! Today I moved into my dorm for UNC Chapel Hill! This year I will be living in Hinton James and I will be majoring in Environmental Studies. In this video I just documented my entire move in experience.

I moved into Craige on Saturday and it was the single worst 36 hours of my life. Went home and enrolled in community college, transferring to a 4-year in the spring. Unc still has my money and they are not refunding. 9 phone calls, 2 academic advisors, and an administration request I still have no progress in obtaining the $9,000 they owe me. Academic advising told me these exact words when I asked for help “I don’t know” and ended the Zoom call, I hope your experience is better. I got out of there when they started changing class modes of instruction. Worst experience of my life. And it’s not just me, one of our hall mates grabbed his valuables and said “I QUIT” on his way out the door, no one gives a flip about you there.

The shower water had rust coming out, the chairs were clogged with hair and wouldn’t roll, the pipes hanging from the ceiling were rattling and hissing 24/7, elevator displayed no proper inspection and was super sketchy, AC was mediocre at best (never got below 77 degrees)
