Omg im thinking of going to UF and I have some time, but the dorms look so good 🥹, sometimes I get scared bc I am a person that really need to know the doorm situations. And I don't live in Florida, I've drove past UF and thats it 😭

Totally understand! Some dorms may not be as nice because they are very old. My dorm was built in 1995 so it’s on the newer side. I would suggest looking at the floor plans of the dorms and look at past Reddit posts about the dorms.

Is the bathroom in the bedroom?

The bathroom is shared between two bedrooms and the kitchen is shared between the whole floor.

Can freshmen get single dorm rooms?

It can be harder for freshman to get single dorm rooms since older students get priority. I was in a double my freshman year. Freshman have a higher change at a single at Lakeside since it’s much farther away.
