Self preservation. Adrenaline. It's a normal biological phenomenon. Similar how a mother can lift a car to save her child in the moment

The drunk girl is half her size and can barely stand. It was not an even fight. She was probably in disbelief. It looked like she was trying to ward off the drunk girl’s actions while trying not to actually hurt her. She probably knew how ridiculous the drunk girl looked.
