As an Asian American, I appreciate you for addressing the hate crimes affecting the Asian community. It's great seeing you grow and educating yourself on these topics. However, going forward, maybe I'm speaking on behalf of many Asians who possibly feel the same way. It would be great to bring on Asian Creators to Gals-on-the-Go and amplify their voices. Supporting Asian businesses during this time is extremely helpful because they've already been disproportionately affected by the pandemic and racism. But it's also important to address on your channel how the model minority myth has been a systemic problem to keep Asian issues/problems under the rug which is what led to these rise in Asian attacks. Asians are now frustrated and tired of being silenced in the media because it's killing people in our community.

I still love and support your vlogs and I see and acknowledge your growth! But I honestly think it’s super tone deaf to just resort to supporting business that are owned by POC or by members of the Asian community. Supporting businesses isn’t actively fighting racism or addressing the issue. People died. Your money doesn’t bring attention to their names. Take a moment to actually address that instead of just bringing up companies to purchase from especially when a lot of people aren’t in the financial place to do that. There are other ways to bring awareness to racism, hate crimes, and murders. Sincerely, a Pacific Islander who is beyond frustrated with how the majority of people are handling this devastating event.

It's good that you want to address current events, but i feel like people are quick to make assumptions behind acts of violence such as these and assume it is all about race. the man who did the assaulting admitted it had nothing to do with race, but gender, which is still terrible but it goes to show we should not jump to the conclusion that all violence is race based.

Maybe you're not aware of whats going on, but as someone who lives in nyc, the uptick in vicious disgusting attacks against asian people is very obvious. Every day there is a new story of an innocent person being attacked (many have even happened in broad daylight). It is incredibly ignorant to not discuss the race of the lives taken during the shooting in Atlanta. ESPECIALLY when the Asian community has faced so much mores discrimination since the pandemic started.
