Don't compare your own rhythm in life to that of others! If sleeping in longer works better for you, you should definitely keep doing so! I'm also someone who doesn't really live on a strict routine. I feel a lot more stressed when I force myself to do so, so I just let go of the reigns and see what I feel up to when the day starts.

Everything you said about overworking yourself without knowing it bc you’re feeling good is so true!!! (like for example for me I was being productive, working out more, I felt great) then I just got in a really depressed and irritable mood OUT OF NOWHERE and I wasn’t on my period or near it so it was so weird. But it makes a lot of sense: overworking myself and inadequate sleep. Thanks for that Halle!!🥰♥️
@lifeof_anya19524 жыл бұрын
Halle i really relate on the anxiety / overworking oneself talk, i tend to sometimes (mostly around different parts of my cycle too lol) be a high functioning anxious/depressed human, and because of that certain routines really help me in terms of waking up earlier and having a good structure of work/exercise etc. but what i dont realise is sometimes i dont get enough sleep/don't eat enough and in fact like you were saying you felt great and maybe even energised and i have too - but what i learnt is that it's actually because my body's cortisol levels were sky high (cortisol as in the stress hormone) which is released when for example you don't get enough sleep/eat enough but you over exercise/are over active (even by accident) and then when your body overproduces that it's because it's trying to overcompensate and you're also then pumping with adrenaline but the inevitability of a 'crash' is then more likely. i think more people than not function like this for their whole lives but don't realise it and it comes up in ways of getting sick/feeling fatigued more easily :-( i never realised this until recently and have been practicing being a bit more intuitive and also try be more easy on myself. anyways it's funny sometimes when we do overwork ourselves that in the process we think we're on a roll or being really productive but really our bodies can be in stress and what's the most productive sometimes is actually getting more rest xx
