Thanks man! This got dropped on my lap two weeks before school with a "can we get this installed on 500 laptops before the start of school?"

How are you pushing updates? Our experience is that the auto updater is not reliable

I have followed the video to install the current version of Bluebook 0.9.203 and for some reason it not wanting to install. I don't get any error just that I never see it pushing to the device or user at all. Would I see anything in the Intune logs or any other log that could show me anything?

Have you had any luck installing the latest update that was just released for this app this past week? And have you run into issues if your users (students) are not administrations running and being able to install the updates that auto download during launch?

We pushed 0.9.203 out via intune. Students are not admins on their devices. The update has been processed with no issues in all checked instances (approx 30).

@@kendalleley Thanks. Turned out I forgot to choose install as User context instead of System. Deployed to over 2500 devices as of this afternoon and all is working 👍.

This was such a helpful video! First time using Intune to install an app. I did run into some issues however. When I set Install Behavior as System, Intune couldn't find that it was installed so it threw an error. When I changed it to install as User, it installs properly. However when I try to open Bluebook on the target machine, it just sits there and spins the dots around in a circle... Any ideas what I need to do?

Do you have any policies that would be blocking access to PowerShell and Command Prompt? The requirements state PowerShell is needed but I found both PowerShell and Command Prompt need to be enabled for access. I am not really a fan of this as it opens the door for students to attempt malicious scripting.

@bobiroc I know powershell is open, ill have to double check command prompt. I have been talking with college board and they are releasing an update this weekend that doesn't not require powershell and command prompt. We'll see what happens.

@@jimiherr2971 - I had trouble with the app launching when command prompt was disabled. Specifically disabling command prompt script processing. I have not done a whole lot of testing as my school is just getting started on this. Do you have info on this future version that does not need command prompt or powershell? I am deploying version 0.9.191 through Intune. It deploys and launches fine so far.
