I can't tell you how I know, but the written prompt questions are so weird. For example, one of them is an overcomplicated way of asking if you showed anyone your code or got outside help. Just say something like, 'If I had to change one thing...' Also, the written questions are very general; they don't tell you anything specific, so you have to take them at face value. Also they try to make the question ai proof so if your plan is to cheese it good luck. Also, one last thing: whatever you do, DO NOT PUT COMMENTS ON YOUR CODE. You get an auto 0 for plagiarism/cheating.

@@thomassun3370 That's exactly why. Because they help. You can certainly put comments, but the 4 code segments you will take a picture of and bring with you to the exam cannot have any comments on them. This is to ensure you don't have an unfair advantage when doing the FRQ part of the exam.

This is because it will get flagged for plagiarism or cheating instantly, and once you get flagged, you don't get a second chance also they won't respond no matter what you do.

I would learn Python coding so you can make and submit your create task for the FRQ portion. Further, learn the important vocabulary terms and ideas that are essential for conceptual MCQs on the exam, also ask your teacher for practice MCQ questions on AP classroom

So the idea is you will have to answer 4 FRQ questions on the day of the exam in the testing room following the 2 hour MCQ section. For these 4 FRQ questions, you will have your reference sheet with 4 pictures of parts of your code to guide you. This is the first time AP CSP is doing this, so there may or may not be a curve this testing season. Hope this helps 👍

don't make the program complicated. Just make sure you hit all of the requirements necessary and do the bare minimum. Also make sure to be very familiar with your code so you can easily answer the questions that come.

Dude u will be fine as long as u hit the requirements. The examples that they put out only went up to like 45 lines of code and they still hit the requirements. Just ace the MCQ (should be light) and just try to know ur code completely so that u can answer any FRQ they throw at u.

Error section will be an FRQ that will ask about either syntax, run-time, or logical errors that could take place with a certain input for your code or modification. You don't necessarily need to code an error into your create task

Unfortunately I do think they hide past exams online. All I can say is to ask your teacher to assign the mock MCQs they can and just practice those. The exam is VERY similar to those mocks on AP classroom, so if you nail those you’ll do amazing on the actual exam.

@@Mr.AP5exactly, I’d advise genuinely doing the code and understanding it because following the requirements is very easy; it probably takes under 6 hours to implement the entire thing. You can make a trivia game equivalent or a fairly basic filtering activity. I made the mistake of making a shooting range last yr (I took the class during freshman year) and almost screwed myself over. My dad had to step in and help. Ended the class with an A and a 5 so it was fine in the end.
