The Canadian education system is often criticized for not providing enough support and appreciation for the sacrifices and struggles that students go through during their years of study. One example of this is the Early Childhood Education (ECE) course, which is a two-year program that requires students to spend a significant amount of time away from their family and friends, as well as incurring significant debts. Despite these sacrifices, graduates of the ECE course are often not rewarded with high-paying jobs in the field, with starting salaries as low as $16 per hour. This is in contrast to jobs at fast-food restaurants or retail stores, which can pay similar wages without the need for a college education. This lack of support and appreciation for the sacrifices made by students is not limited to the ECE course, but is a common issue across the Canadian education system. This is particularly troubling for low-income families, who are often the most affected by this lack of support. The government needs to take steps to address this issue and provide more support for students and graduates, in order to ensure that their sacrifices are rewarded with better job opportunities and higher wages. Overall, while the Canadian education system may have its merits, it falls short when it comes to providing support and appreciation for the struggles and sacrifices made by students. It's important for the government and other key stakeholders to take note of this issue and take action to ensure that students are rewarded with better job opportunities and higher wages. Wake up its not fair.

Dear Danny, Colleges have little role in market or industry demand for workers. It is in fact duty of a student to carefully plan their career on the basis of market research. Engineering market is also likewise. It revolves every 5 yrs. Colleges can upto the max only support to find jobs. But pay is entirely a market oriented factor.

McGill, U. of Toronto, and UBC have name recognition and have large alumni. Attending a famous university increases your chance of employment. Quality of student body and competition are higher in famous universities. If you attend a regional college, may be only people located in that province know about it.

Applying to random colleges and getting refund from them later on kills your time and energy, so the SMART solution is to apply to few selected colleges where you can maximise your chances of getting the offer letter. You can judge the quality of the school by comparing % students passed NCLEX exam in their first attempt. For example, in Ontario, CNO publishes, "Nursing Registration Exams Report 2021 - CNO". A 2-yr diploma may give you RPN license; but not RN (4-yr bachelor degree). There is a big salary gap between RN and RPN.

can you share the information about nursing colleges in canada for PG.Dip nursing
@smwk20172 жыл бұрын
Nursing is licensed by each province. Registered Nurse (RN) is a 4-yr bachelor degree program; Practical Licensed Nurse (LPN) is a 2-yr program. Ontario calls LPN as Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). After graduation, one must pass NCLEX exam before one can work in hospitals. There is a big pay differential between RN and LPN/RPN. For Canadians, RN can work in USA through TN-1 visa of USMCA, but not LPN/RPN. TN-1 visa is a 3-yr non-immigration, renewable visa that can be obtained in Canada/US border for $60. Thus, many Canadian RN's work in USA. Quebec requires passing a French language test for RN/LPN licensure.
@smwk20172 жыл бұрын
You judge quality of the school by published statistics of % students who passed NCLEX exam in the first attempt. For example, in Ontario, check out "Nursing Registration Exams Report 2021 - CNO". Similar reports are available for other provinces.

so what type of program i should select inorder to move to canada as a international student with assurance of PGWP
@smwk20172 жыл бұрын
@@a.sumanthreddy4646 Tuition is very expensive for international students. If money is tight, do a 2-yr program to get RPN/LPN. Once you get your PR, you can do a RPN to RN bridging program but paying local resident tuition. Do some research to see which province is right for you. Stay away from Quebec because it requires French for licensure. There is a big salary differential between RN and RPN.
