This 2009 concert on the NOE channel marks early success of Vaclav Luks and the Collegium Vocale 1704; singers include some who worked with Prof Dr Tomas Novotny in the remarkable ADASH ensemble (Yiddish, Hebrew repertory) in Ostrava. Their careers blossomed and flourished all over Europe, Israel, and in the USA. Thanks to KZbin uploaders who have made many concerts accessible to us!

Good observation. H v Karajan liked back-lighting, side profile faces in close-up, overall a chiascuro emergence of singers and instruments, close-ups of the conductor's hands.
