The scene where Mac kicks her brother in the butt as they were walking out the door.

I love the scene where she realizes more people gave a shit about her than she thought. So sweet & vulnerable.

It's little bits of spice in so many moments. I liked how she incorporated the Danzig song into the dialogue. "I'm just waiting for my BROTHA!" haha! So many great moments, funny but also sweet and vulnerable. This girl is gonna go far.

Mac is my favorite character and the way Sofia played her was amazing. All four girls had phenomenal acting. I have no doubt I’ll be seeing them in more things soon. Hopefully I’ll see them in season 2 of Paper Girls first tho. I NEED Amazon to renew it.

Sofia Rosinsky has been impressive all during her career (even though she is young) and I believe she will be a household name that will stand the test of time in a few more years. I look forward to watching her career blossom.

I love that she improvised the 'which says dumb on it' line! It's one of my favorites 😆

Sofia is absolutely phenomenal. The way she played Mac just blew me away and it’s even more impressive when you see the contrast in herself and the character. She inspires me a lot as an aspiring actress and I just know she will go far.

I can't praise Sofia's talent enough, she's so good! I couldn't even recognize her outside of the show when she started doing interviews because she's so different from Mac, even the way she talks is the complete opposite of her character, it's amazing. She's very sweet and intelligent, she definitely has a very bright future ahead of her and I'm also super excited to see her, Fina, Camryn and Riley building great careers. Sofia didn't simply did Mac justice, she gave her life in a way that even the comics felt limited in some ways. Hoping for a S2 with all my heart, Paper Girls is one of the best shows of the year without a doubt! ♡

This young lady is excellent, I'm just 4 episodes in and she is channeling a better Edward furlong than Terminator 2. Not sure if it was her or the director/writer that came up with that idea/style for the character but either way she is knocking it out of the park performance wise.

Changing the show to a different network like Apple TV would work! S1 was outstanding!

My lord, what 16 year old would say Bette Davis, Jose Ferrer,etc.... as the people she looked up to....most don't even know those actors! (I love Bette Davis so Sofia gets major points with me)

I wasn't expecting much since it was mostly a female cast and you know how everyone who makes movies and TV shows are pushing their agenda. but I take my words back this one of few shows this year that's actually worth watching.
@TheAfricanGrey2 жыл бұрын
They aren’t pushing any “agenda” They had a mostly female cast because the show is about young women’s lives. Can’t really be authentic if the cast is all men can it? Now contrast that to the mostly male cast of almost every other show that gets made which no one ever says is pushing an “agenda” and tell me if that seems fair. Shows and movies can be made by women the same way they can made by men. Doesn’t make them any worse depending on what gender most of the cast is.

i find this really annoying, why is our very existence political, can we just exist on screen without people having a negative opinion?
