Although the acting by Jude Law was really fabulous, the movie plot itself was COMPLETELY historically INACCURATE, deceptive, erroneous and false. Just once I'd like to see something in Tudor history portrayed correctly. Sigh!

"A Man For All Seasons" (1966) should be the best choice. To my mind the best historical film. Robert Shaw's portrayal of Henry VIII stays in your mind for a long time :)
