I've been massively obsessed with One Piece since 2000 and I can't stand the people who think live action adaptation attempts somehow negate the original and somehow suddenly taints it. This cast seems really fun, and One Piece more than anything is about the crew having fun on adventures together. Like yo, it's a cartoon tv show turned into another tv show. It's really not that serious. People act like live adaptations are akin to botched surgeries or a family member dying. Everyone needs to relax, give things a chance, trust Oda sensei, and shit if you don't like it then move on with your life.
