Can’t believe how much closer we’re getting to Superman. The way Grillo talks about him gets me so excited. Supes really is THAT dude.

Good interview. Can't wait to see Superman 2025, and to see him in Peacemaker and Cretaure Commandos! He's gonna be a great addition to that cast.

I am still baffled at how Frank is supposed to be believable as Rick Flag's father when he and Joel are less than 15 years apart?! Unless Flag Sr is supposed to be aged up even more or takes some kind of serum, I don't fully buy it!
@Mirakulus93 күн бұрын
I believe he's meant to be aged up. In the animated series, his character is drawn with completely gray hair and a gray beard. They intended to do that look in live action, but he was simultaneously filming Tulsa King, so he had to keep his regular look for that role.

Finally, someone who has the same concern I’ve had. I thought it’d be so obvious but it seems no one else is addressing it

The only thing that makes me really skeptical ,is he has white hair in creature commandos and in Superman and Peacemaker ...he doesn't..? they could not bother to put a little talcum powder on his hair to whiten it just to match the cartoon? No they said that it's not going to be the same? he's going to have black hair in Superman/Peacemaker, and then gray hair in creature commando... and there's no explanation, except there was a behind the scenes, scheduling issue...? They can't even put talcum powder in his hair? Just so the viewer ,the fans are satisfied, these little details matter! They don't strive for perfection in these DC movie? and connectivity with the cartoon and movies?it's really lazy and it really made me think... wow? if that little detail is looked over , in a simple little character continuity detail like his hair changing color...? imagine the stories and the characters... ?I'm really skeptical of James Gunn's DC movie's... They feel like they're going to be really cheap and lazy and the continuity is not going to matter to the point where his hair color is not even going to be the same
@Mirakulus93 күн бұрын
I guess Just For Men hair dye exists in the DCU, too. Seriously, you actually thought this one detail was worth a novel-length comment complaining about it?! Lmao. You obviously know nothing about make-up or hair color, either, because not only would "talcum" look awful and fake on camera, it wouldn't even last through 2 takes. And with hair and a beard as dark as Grillo's they would have to use something semi-permanent to get a good look. And like they said, he had an extremely tight schedule filming these and his series Tulsa Kings simultaneously, a show which he was contractually obligated to maintain his dark hair and beard. I mean really, it just sounds like you're reaching as hard as you can to hate on the future DCU lol.

And why couldn’t he darken his hair AFTER the events of the series? It takes place a few months before the events in Superman. As Gunn has said, he’s a very vain man.

He was filming tulsa at the same time he couldn't
@cable7152Күн бұрын
@Mirakulus9 it shouldn't, but it still does surprise me the lengths people will go to to hate and be miserable. Talcum powder? Lmao.
