Great compilation, and a wonderful collection of old photos. My father worked at Sengehenydd at the time of the disaster, then at Bedwas, before going to Nottinghamshire and finally South Yorkshire coalfields.

Afan Valley and the LLynfi Valley had Collieries too,might have been worthy of a mention,I`m sure

Yeah! Nantgarw got in just at the end, I used to work there same as my dad. No mention of the universal in Senghenydd, shame, their tragic tale should have been amongst the list, my old home village fitted the timeline 1913 disaster guess it was too traumatic for the compiler. Like Max said, Nantgarw was a car park last time I went past (1990).
