It all started on the evening of January 28, 2022, at 34 Fairview Road, a home owned by Nicole Albert and husband Brian Albert. A party had gathered there that night following a night out drinking at Waterfall Bar and Grill, nominally to celebrate Brian Albert Jr.’s 23rd birthday, to which O’Keefe and Read were both invited. By 6:03 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2022, Jennifer McCabe placed a call to 911 reporting that she, Read, and another friend named Kerry Roberts found O’Keefe’s body in the front yard.

John O'Keefe transferred into that precinct, because his sister and her husband died, so John moved there to take care of his niece and nephew. He was an outsider in that department not one of their own Irish mob-like thugs who have been enforcing the law with a heavy fist. The cover up came together so quickly and cohesively, actually quite shocking. That's what makes this case so fascinating.

As a police officer, it sickens me you called this a botched case. This is clearly a cover up and intentional frame of this woman. They never even knocked on the door of the house with a dead body in the front yard? Someone told them not to. The police chief lives across the street and has a camera that points right at where she dropped him off. Rather than get that a d put it in evidence he just said it didn't show anything.

He came in to this case late. He doesn't know all of Lally's pretrial prosecutorial misconduct. He doesn't understand. Lally's not punching a clock. He's praying for a guilty verdict to save him from personally being sued. Hiding discovery. Lying about delays. Getting caught in open court lying pretrial. Even before the trial started Lally went so far above and beyond any reasonable prosecutor his immunity is in jeopardy. That's why Lally does what he does. It's no mystery. Hell Lally delayed discovery until 2 weeks before trial. Even after signing his certificate of discovery he had still not turned over evidence. With evidence still outstanding he was whining to the judge about discovery from the defense.

The police officer with the snow plough on his jeep that worked in the Alcohol, narcotics & tobacco seizures dept didn’t seem at all ashamed or embarrassed when he admitted IN COURT to having drank SIX whiskeys then drove to the police station to MOVE POLICE VEHICLES then drove home without a second thought or a care in the world! He had no shame whatsoever, incredible! He should lose his job for that alone.

I have stories stretching as far back as the 90’s. It’s scary. I try not to open my big mouth too much because I don’t want to put my family on their radar again. But I will say many lives have been ruined and even lost. The state has a huge problem with corruption in law enforcement and the system needs to be rebuild from the ground up. It’s that bad! This stems from the state police going back to whitey bulgers days. He corrupted the state police AND fbi and it’s been downhill ever since.

As a retired State Trooper North Carolina this is unbelievable. I investigated over 14 thousand motor vehicle crashes. There is no way none the injuries on the officer were caused by a backing vehicle. I cannot believe the State brought this case. I had a couple of cases like this and the injuries were not like his injuries. She's NOT GUILTY. I worked the road for 30 years.
@collierlandry
@collierlandry 4 ай бұрын
The thing is, there was SO MUCH conjecture around this case regarding John O'Keefe's injuries that it became difficult to discern what happened, let alone what a jury must be thinking. However, now that the Medical Examiner has testified, essentially saying his injuries could have been caused by several things, that was the nail in the coffin for me. Whatever people think of Karen Read, her outfits, her expressions in court, etc., IDC. An innocent person should never go to prison just because of overzealous prosecution and incompetent, albeit corrupt police work. This is the U.S.A.; we demand better of our judicial system, no matter who is a suspect.

@@collierlandry Sir I agree. I lost some cases in court because I made a mistake on the paperwork such as the times on the affidavit. The good attorneys would tell me before I got on the stand. Obviously,I didn't have it changed before I testified. They did it out of a courtesy. We have what's called a Giglio here in North Carolina. If the District Attorney finds your testimony untruthful, they can file paperwork which goes all over the State which means you cannot testify in any court and you are done in Law Enforcement. I retired October 01, 2023 with 30 years of honorable service. When I worked I was all business and I treated everyone the same. We had a Governor here and his wife was speeding. She thought I was going to let her go because of who she was. I didn't. She got a ticket just like anyone else. In all of my motor vehicle collision investigations, I looked at all evidence, interviewed all witnesses and had all filled out a statement. In all Fatalities, we had or have to call the District Attorney and explain to them what we have before we charge anyone. There is no way his injuries came from a vehicle backing 24 MPH. I can put my hand on the Bible and sleep good at night. Why not just tell the truth. Again, I have testified in many DWI cases and about 15 civil motor vehicle crash cases and the evidence is the evidence. From what I have seen, the evidence is just not there. I think it's a coverup and I hope an outside agency look into this. Attorneys are not cheap and this woman's reputation is done either way. These Troopers to me are not the type I worked with. She is in my opinion Not Guilty. When a Law Enforcement Officer loses Credibility, he or she is done and should be. Also, it's not a sideswipe. If she did do it, I don't understand why they charged her with second degree murder. The correct charge is Misdemeanor Death by motor vehicle. I charged it about 30 times in my career. Never second degree unless the driver was charged with DWI.

You can see Bederow truly enjoys the law, litigating. He’s clearly disappointed with how the police handled it as Canton handed it off to State SERT team. Not to mention the powerful statement I’ve heard him say a few times about Lally’s opening… “Worst opening argument I’ve heard in 25 yrs.” That’s huge! No small potato claim there! Lack of evidence markers, containers. Well I hope Rita who’s helping w Police accountability by going to those meetings & select board meetings in Canton, can help Chris Albert budget the force w body cameras that won’t break or lose audio, a sally port w continuous feed not motion activated (which some have said is a lie… that it is continuous), and that this force has training for securing a crime scene! How to use tape even in inclimate conditions; how to place evidence markers & rulers to give context & proportion… This is a nightmare. I’m sure a town w population of 700 would do better than this suburb of Boston did!

@edwinodus Hi there! Thank you so much for responding. I love this discourse. We come from completely opposite perspectives, but I totally respect your opinions and I especially respect the fact that you truly do believe you're keeping and protecting your oath as an attorney. Truly. I can and have explained how Officer John O'Keefe likely sustained his injuries. It simply was not presented well in trial the first time around. Lally is one man against three high-powered attorneys. He did EVERYTHING. That's a herculean task. And he basically got a draw. I'm confident he learned a ton from this first trial and will approach it better next time. First, I am a very independent woman and thinker. Nobody dictates what and/ or how I think. I gather every piece of information/ evidence/ opinions/ ideas from every perspective I can find, and I draw my own conclusions, which are, of course, subject to change. I don't follow Kevin mindlessly by any means. I strongly disagree with him about some things, (one being that I FIRMLY believe KR is absolutely guilty of 2nd degree) but that doesn't mean I have to dislike him or be cruel about our disagreements. Friends, family, and loved ones disagree all the time. Thank God we do because what a boring, uneducational, disillusioned, unevolving world it would be if we were all zombies and just blindly followed and agreed with everyone about everything. I don't want to live in a world like that. Gross. Second, the biggest difference you and I likely have is that you are a lawyer who thinks in terms of guilty and not guilty, based on the presentation of evidence. I respect that you protect the integrity of our justice system by holding everyone accountable. However, I'm only concerned with factual guilt and factual innocence. I want criminals and dangerous people to be penalized and taken out of our society. I want to live in a world where we can trust our neighbors, teachers, police, etc. That said, innocence fraud campaigns TRULY do try their damnedest to corrode the very justice system you took an oath to protect and uphold. KR IS the first person that I know of who has put on an innocence fraud campaign during pre-trial as well as in real-time in America. It's disgusting. It's anti-American. It's scary. It's sleazy. It's actually ILLEGAL and obviously unethical. The fact that KR was literally FEEDING TB information straight from the case is ILLEGAL. The fact that TB and all his minions, who are, in fact, grifters, call innocent people unalivers AND report other FALSE INFORMATION as FACT, ILLEGAL. (Grifter: someone who reports knowingly false information as fact for their own benefit or profit). The fact that AJ and DY then turn around and tell the court that they are getting their information from the "media/press," ILLEGAL. Do you see that cycle? KR and team tell TB what to do and say with false information, TB gives all his talking heads similar bullet points to spread, then KR and team go to court with the claim that this information is "fact" because it's being, "reported in the press." ILLLLLEEEGGGAAALLLL!!! The biggest lie, in my opinion, is about the involvement of the FEDS, how they got involved, what they found, and the continuous lie that they are still investigating. Josh Levy did a political favor for "someone," and now his a** is going to be held to the fire. You'll see. THAT'S corruption. Calling KR a murd**r, b!+ch, and a cun+ is just TRUTH, not CORRUPTION. That's ALL they found, messages that are "mean" toward Karen. THAT'S IT. The DEFENSE asked the court to seal the information from that investigation in a pretrial motion, DY, to be exact. Why? Because they KNOW damn well that if it gets out that they found ZERO CORRUPTION, that's going to make all these FKR people scratch their heads. Or will it? At this point, I really don't know... so many people have been endoctrinated into this very CULT- like "movement" that they literally won't question anything. THAT'S a ZOMBIE mind. It's sad. These people think they're contributing their time and money to help an innocent person, which is a completely righteous act. However, KR, TB, and all the others profiting from these lies don't give an actual flying fu(k about any of them. They are using all these good-hearted, well-meaning people to incite hate and spread lies about innocent people and REVICTIMIZE victims of John O'Keefe's family and friends. If they knew the truth, and/ or when/ if they ever finally see the TRUTH, they will be sick, heartbroken, and feel so disillusioned and maybe even crazy. This saddens me a great deal. They need deprogramming, but I have my doubts about whether they'll even accept it, unfortunately. As far as attorneys believing this shit, well, again, are you maybe only speaking to people with a similar mindset??? I know MANY who see it for what it is, a DV breakup rage m**der. So, there is definitely a huge pool of lawyers who see the case clearly and straightforward. LawTubers, well, they are incentivized to spread the lies as well. Look at how much money they make from it. Superchats, donations, memberships, money from KZbin, etc. It's gross. If they were brave enough to call it out, they'd lose all their followers, and we both know it. Again, look at my numbers vs. The Young Jurks, for example. Mike KNOWS the truth, and he IS ABSOLUTELY a GRIFTER. I have been in his chat several times trying to respectfully talk about my opinion, and he literally blocks me from chat for the entire show. This happens in all FKR chats and shows. Why do you think they absolutely will NOT invite others with a contrarian opinion, nor will they accept an invitation to a show who holds a different opinion??? That should SHOW EVERYONE THE TRUTH RIGHT THERE. But, for some reason, people want to live in echo chambers. I find that to be a horrible and unhealthy choice, but, hey! I do me, you do you and they do them. I'm always up for a healthy debate. I thrive on philosophical conversations. From what I understand, when a defendant uses a complete, or third-party culpability defense, they are, in essence, shifting the burden to themselves. (Factually, they don't HAVE to prove it, but the jury wants to see the proof in that pudding). If they make claims to a jury in opening, but then don't deliver during trial, juries often will feel misled and, as a result, are more likely to find the defendant guilty. This is something I've heard almost, if not all, attorneys agree on with regard to the complete defense position. To reiterate, I'm talking in terms of factual guilt. I had the privilege of researching and watching pretrial motions during the trial to find facts for myself. The jury couldn't do that, and the presentation was extremely discombobulated, which is understandable given that the CW had never handled a case with real-time innocence fraud. As a result, the jury was likely confused. I would have been. But now they get to clean up their case and present it on a clear, simple path from A to Z. I'm confident both the CW and the jury will get it right next time. That's just me. Love and Light ❤️ 🌻

@edwinodus She ABSOLUTELY hit him with her car. The marks on his arm align PERFECTLY with the clear taillight plastic, which I illustrate VERY CLEARLY (using Boundless Millenials content) on my reaction video to the episode on Melanie Littles podcast where she has a dog trainer spread dis/misinformation. John's head injury, I'm pretty sure, at least common sense tells me, came from hitting frozen ground. Frozen ground is just as hard as concrete. Don't believe me. Ask others who are credible professionals. CREDIBLE being the key word. She hit him with her car on purpose, traveling 24 mph for 62 ft, with all the bells and whistles shouting in her vehicle, which she ignored because she was in a rage. It's 2nd degree. She knew it, and she left him there to expire. She had SIX HOURS to get him help. Instead, she chose to try to cover her own a$$, and call a DUI lawyer and her daddy at 1am. She's dangerous. I believe she's a psychopath. And she belongs in prison, even moreso now because of the way she has and continues to terrorize John's friends and family... the community... the country... and beyond. SHE IS DANGEROUS. FULL STOP. This is a very simple case of domestic violence and break-up violence. That's what the conversation in America should be about; we need to bring awareness to the fact that about 50% of DV cases are actually men. They don't understand what's happening when they're in it, and society (wrongly) teaches us that women do not hurt or kill people they supposedly love... but THEY DO! It is my humble opinion that we, as a society, need to collectively gather round the O'Keefe's and support them in their quest for justice. They KNOW what happened. Do you honestly think you KNOW BETTER than his OWN FAMILY??? What if, let's say, your sister passed in a horrible way. Would you do your research and detective work to ABSOLUTELY ENSURE that they prosecute the correct person? Would you? I sure as hell would. Now imagine that AND THEN imagine that someone like me looks into it, finds some odd things, and concludes that I KNOW BETTER THAN YOU about how your sister passed. How would that make you feel? 🤔 It's preposterous and, quite frankly, kind of cruel. Just imagine how that would feel if it were your sister/ daughter/ wife. Imagine people using her name to both spread lies about you and your family, but also to raise money to defend her unaliver. My goodness!!! I honestly can't even imagine how that would feel. I would very likely ABSOLUTELY LOSE MY SHIT! For the sake of the argument, let's just say that maybe the person is not the unaliver, but YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART that they are, it still would feel HORRIBLE!!! It goes to what I said in one of my podcasts, if I were wrongly charged with unaliving my man, at the VERY LEAST, I would tell the public that I SO APPRECIATE their support, BUT PLEASE DON'T SPREAD HATE AND LIES ABOUT MY HUBBY'S FAMILY OR FRIENDS. AND DON'T USE HIS NAME TO RAISE MONEY FOR MY DEFENSE. IT'S CRUEL. IT'S NOT SOMETHING I SUPPORT, SO PLEASE STOP. We'll prove my innocence without causing further pain and suffering to his family and friends. They are using John's good name to RAISE MONEY FOR THE DEFENSE OF HIS UNALIVER. I would be horrified and outraged. Karen is enjoying it. She ABSOLUTELY IS the one giving the orders to TB and he disseminates it to his minions and so on. But it all begins with Karen. I truly believe she is a dangerous psychopath. Why would she NOT tell the public to please stop hurting John's family and friends? They're already victims twice over and now all this... it truly breaks my heart. The O'Keefe's KNOW what happened to their loved one. Please listen to them. Love and Light ❤️ 🌻 'XXXXX. XXXXX @SorenPenrose The FEDS have been done for a LONG TIME. The ONLY thing they found were Proctors texts about Karen. That's it. He was pissed that's she UNALIVED him and he said mean things on his PERSONAL PHONE. He was venting. He is human. And he's a good cop who just got thrown to the wolves. He's another, in a long line, of Karen's victims. It's disgusting. You'll see.... patience.... Love and Light ❤️ 🌻

The most stunning piece of this is that there is a fellow officer dead on the lawn but the officer whose home this is never comes outside. He never tries to render aid and when John is taken away, the officer never runs outside asking, “What? Who? Where?!” That is enough to know something is wrong. That is not a natural reaction!

Can we talk about how the JUDGE is running this case for the prosecution, but she knows she's being watched now (took her a couple weeks to accept that) so she has to tryyyy to make it look like she's fair (she's not), and she's corrupt AF as well?? She's obviously gotten away with this her whole career, which makes me think every case this town has brought under her needs to be given a new trial!! Why don't the attorneys have to state WHY they're objecting, LIKE EVERY OTHER CASE, and give the other side a chance to rebutt that objection before the judge just announces 'SUSTAINED?? ' He can just state objection after objection, throwing 💩 at the wall, hoping some sticks. And it does! Might as well object to every single thing, if you as an attorney don't have to give a reason for your objection! That's just ONE of the UNBELIEVABLE circus acts going on before you ever add a word by defense!

He'd say that no one is innocent, they're all guilty of something. He would swipe some of the drugs they'd confiscate. He said they'd keep extra to put on suspects, along with guns. He was so jaded & racist, needs to find another line of work. He's not intelligent enough to be hired outside of the city of Detroit, they'll pretty much take anyone. After so many yrs on the force, he still couldn't pass the test in a neighboring city. Such a pos smh... he was getting off work, saw a man beating on a woman & pretended not to see it, because his lazy fat ass didn't want to have to deal with it, he was off the clock. The two most compelling things for me are that the medical examiner would not call this a homicide and did not feel JO’s injuries were consistent with being struck by a vehicle. And that the expert witnesses in accident reconstruction also concluded that he was not struck by a vehicle. If there’s literally no evidence that the victim’s cause of death was being struck by a vehicle, how on earth did they charge KR with vehicular homicide? It makes absolutely zero sense, unless there is corruption.

I was curious what the probability is of Jen making 6 butt dials without leaving a voicemail in a row and calculated this: I measured the percentage of the screen of a large iphone icon such as the passcode numbers and it is 2% of the screen. The lower end with a 4-digit passcode requires 7 inputs to make a call. The average ring time is 15s and most carrier voicemails automatically hang up after 30s of silence (which is an under-estimate since any background noise would extend this time). That gives the upper end of the probability of hanging up before the voicemail at 33%. Doing this 6 times in a row thus gives the following calculation of probability: ((.02^7)*.33)^6 which is a 1 in 1.74*1 trillion^6*100 chance.

I have tried to find a way to contact Karen Read. I've been obsessed with this case. My husband of 16 years died of natural causes almost 6 years ago. Instead of being allowed to grieve, I was instead fighting for my freedom as my brother in law fought to accuse me of murdering his brother. Different situation, but enough the same to empathize with her.

@melissahanna2815 She absolutely hit him with her car. Love and Light ❤️ 🌻 PS/ The FEDS have been done for a LONG TIME. The ONLY thing they found were Proctors texts about Karen. That's it. He was pissed that's she UNALIVED him and he said mean things on his PERSONAL PHONE. He was venting. He is human. And he's a good cop who just got thrown to the wolves. That’s what I originally thought too. But a local from Canton said it’s an open base that everyone goes through all the time. She said that what he did wasn’t uncommon and throwing something away there is typical. But that seems to be one “normal” thing he did amongst a ton of nonsensical acts so it’s hard to imagine anything he did was normal.

Why we're at it, let's talk about Morrisay, who went on air, as the PA, slamming Karen Read, and obviously taking the side of the actual people guilty. Never have I ever seen a PA get on t.v., before a trial, and say what he said! Like a trusted attorney I have followed from day one, Melanie Little, "this could be anyone of us," and thankfully she could afford good attorneys, not having to rely on Public Defenders. The corrupt officers, friends, families involved, didn't expect that, they counted on her not being able to fight back. Every single witness at the Waterfall that night, said she was not intoxicated! No one, ever saw her drink anything but the same drink she brought in with her to the Waterfall! Higgins is a narcissist, cry baby, because Karen wasn't having anything to do with him. She was madly in love with OJO, and OJO was madly in love with her! Higgins has been on restricted duty, for a very good reason 😅
