It’s 4am and I am absolutely eating up this conversation! So many confirmations to how I see and think about Pickleball strategy, but also learning so much!! Thx for this podcast!!

Love the platform tennis reference Collin makes at 29:40. I agree that there are so many similarities between pickleball and platform tennis in positioning and strategy. What a great discussion.

I was pretty much a rec league rookie when I first watched this, close to a year ago. Maybe I understood 70%. But it changed everything about how I approached the game. It gave me permission to think the game at a higher level, especially in terms of partnership dynamics. Coming back to it again I understood more like 95%. I might have missed a wrinkle or two. Another difference between first view and second view is the arrival of Parris Todd. Puts a different spin on the influx of tennis into the sport. I've always had a soft spot for elite athletes who can play second fiddle, exactly as the piper orders. Or just figure it out for themselves, in the larger team context, and flow into the gaps. Collin is an articulate guy. Really enjoyed this a lot. Props to all three participants.

It was actually 12 June when I first viewed this. I made a note at the time because I really liked it. Only six months. But mentally, it feels like a year.

You gotta appreciate how strategic Ben is and how dedicated Collin is to be the best double partner to Ben, especially being 6-year older brother. 👏 👏

Absolutely brilliant analysis in understanding how the geometry angles come into play. Also, this is showing how developing a response instead of reaction leads to better Court decisions. A response is a strategy. A reaction is just that, a reaction. This interview exemplifies why this is such a cerebral game. This is chess not checkers. Being athletic is great but being athletic and smart is better.

I'm 33 minutes into this - already delayed one biz meeting cause I was rabbit holing the PB talk - will listen to the balance of this this evening - SUPER FREAKING CONTENT - love it and will share with a couple peeps I play with. Idea: while your subs and listeners absolutely want to hear from the movers, shakers and pros on this podcast - I think seeking out amateurs that have fallen for the the game in a hardcore fashion would be a great interview.

Amazing stuff. Collin is the world’s best brother. My younger brother and I are just starting our pickleball journeys. I’m 31, he’s 29. I hope to be the Collin to his Ben on the court. We’re playing in our first local tournament next week. We’re going to play his forehand to the middle. So much good information to digest here. I’m hoping if my pickleball brain is a 4.0+, my paddle will catch up soon. Much love from a new “right-sider”.

Collin looks like the guy that would play Fortnite with 12 year olds. Child Fortnite player: jump if you can hear me. Now jump your age. Collin: jumps 8 times

i don't understand brother ben's pickleball epiphany...why? why is it not meant to be a 50/50 game? does it just have to do with the strength of one player? is it that simple? somebody please answer.

Amazing colin admitted that he was no where near a pro player having devoting his whole life to tennis. Plays pickleball 2 years and hes a top doubles pro in just a couple years. I see pickleblall being a hype sport. So cant make it in tennis but pickleball he can that means pickleball is not a true sport compared to tennis
