Is it weird as a jazz fan I wish he missed that? Not just because I want the top pick but because it seems like a terrible terrible precedent to set where collier will bitch to a respected veteran after objectively doing the wrong thing and then getting the totally lucky and unwarranted “told you so” of a game winner. Is that a dumb reason?

There is no excuse for that 8 second violation. Sexton was calling for the ball the entire time and knew that the priority was to get it over half court-and after that-you can take your time. The rookie had tunnel vision. I also think Coliler was fortunate to hit that game winner. His push through dribble was sloppy and risky. Props to him for making it, but he needs to learn to let the game come to him. He’s young and I think he’ll certainly learn that with time.

That wasn’t the problem. Collin Sexton would have pushed the fast break if Eubanks passed it to him. Or at least get it up court. Giving it to Collier led to a 8 sec violation.

@shocksix you understand yelling and begging for the ball is gonna make your teammate focus on you and not the clock? Just let your teammate push up the ball and get it when you're open. Only kobe or lebron should demand the ball like that and then get upset if they don't get it
