I like all the music from Collision Chaos (even the US), but the JP Good Future might be my favorite theme in the entire game. It screams pure joy in a way only Metallic Madness Good Future (JP) can rival.

I'm always glad to hear it when people say they like both versions. To me it's a great indicator of a person with a wide net of various tastes when anybody says they love both versions of Sonic CD.

collision chaos is one of the few levels where I prefer the good future instead of the bad future, the other level is quartz quadrant, I like the good future and the past

I have a little too much 2018 nostalgia from this game. The music, that secret screen that kept me up at night (younger me was scared of even the littlest stuff), and how fun the game was in general.

i relate, Sonic CD was the first Sonic game i ever played, and i always loved the JP version of Palmtree Panic

*PRESENT: You enter the new area. It reminds you of spring yard. Bumpers and springs everywhere. While day dreaming you run into somebody. But before you realize who it is a robot grabs them. You chase the robot. All you know is that it’s up to no good. PAST: as you time travel the signs flashing and flickering disappear. All the light is turned down. You look around for the generator and realize while looking up that the top looks the same as the bottom. BAD FUTURE: Oh what a horrible sight! All life had been drained. All the ground murky and grey. The water a red color. The flickering signs barely even work anymore. GOOD FUTURE: The pink colored land turns cyan and the plants become much more lush. The signs flickering and flashing even more but in the distance you see a small civilization. Their land has been saved. The blue skys have never looked more beautiful…*
