Great for studio use. I own & love chroma console. So I appreciate the knobs as opposed to menu diving.

I totally agree! Really nice to have everything so well laid out. Really easy to use and manage, and you don't get distracted by a ton of menu diving, dip switching, secondary functionalities or controls being too close together. Some people might be turned off by the size of Crushturnal, but to me, that design choice is a big part of how easy and fun it is to use.

The only reason I still keep my Zoom G5 is because it has a lot of these features. I love the sequencers, and it's handy for infrequently used delay modes and modulations. This looks like it would be an awesome update on that.

@thepedalzone4 ай бұрын
Happy you enjoyed the demo :) Sure, presets are always a nice feature to have. But trust me, the pedal isn't complex. It might look it due to the wealth of controls, but everything is so well laid out and thought out. You quickly learn how to dial this one in on the fly and use it as an instrument in its own right

Gosh, lost count of the times that I've used the Afterneath V3 together with CV/Expression. @thepedalzone4 ай бұрын
Thank you very much! I don’t know. Haven’t opened up the pedal to have a look. I know that Collision have used the FV-1 before in their older pedals, but if you want to know the tech details of this one, then it’s probably best to ask the guys who made it. The Collision gang is seriously the sweetest and most gentle group of people out there. I know they would be happy to help you out with whatever question you might have 😊👍
@ArrakisOCE4 ай бұрын
@@thepedalzone Thanks for that. Yeah, I will ask them as I am very interested and love the sound. It definitely doesn’t sound like an FV-1.
@collisiondevices4 ай бұрын
@@ArrakisOCE It sound like 2 FV1 :D There are 2 inside. One for the Ambience part. Another for the Digital Repeater. And their clocks are generated by a STM32 MCU. It's a sort of a modular setup we really liked to create "polyrythms" patterns between the clock sequencer (mcu) and the delay time (FV1). Really nice to get accidental experiences. And the whole circuitry around is analog like in our other pedals! :)
@ArrakisOCE4 ай бұрын
@@collisiondevices Oh wow, I was going to reach out about this, thanks so much! I am always really intrigued by the engineering and circuit design behind these kinds of pedals. That is really interesting use of a dual chip design, and it sounds incredible. I know most do use the digital signal to compliment the analog signal path, but whatever you have done with this is one is particularly nice. Might be another order coming up!

Hej Stephan tak for fede videoer ❤ Jeg har et spørgsmål Jeg har Micro cosme hvor tæt er disse to på hinanden ? Og hvad er forskellen? Og er collier pedalen tæt på dem også ? Hvad ville du vælge
@thepedalzone4 күн бұрын
@louderthangod5 ай бұрын
The lack of stereo is odd. I think so many ambient folks have gone stereo or wet/dry/wet and with digital amps that’s made that even easier and more affordable.
@collisiondevices4 ай бұрын
Yeah we definitely could not do stereo on this one or we should have released it in 2 years. But that's something we're working on! 😊 And we usually place the pedal at the beginning or the middle position in the effects chain so we found it useful enough to release as a mono pedal with its micro looper and sequenced textures features. Hopefully stereo soon on our coming devices!
@linewizard4 ай бұрын
My crushturnal delay sounds extremely crushed and lo-fi at 0% crush, 0% sample rate and 100% clock. Is there some other secret setting I’m missing? It sounds great in your demo before reducing the clock or sample rate
@thepedalzone4 ай бұрын
The delay should definitely be very pristine if you have Sample Rate at 0% and Clock completely clockwise. If things sound distorted then it's probably best to reach out to Collision Devices about it :)
