for all the colombian haters I would say that now that UCI keep clean ciclyng around the world is why colombian are taking over ... it is not just that you ride over 2000 meters over the sea, you actually were born and live is such a high altittuded ... so for them is much easy to climb, and FYI, ciclyng is the national sport in Colombia, we got champions since the 70's. And the first colombian to won a race in europe (belgium) was around the 60's.

Between dozens of reason that I can give you but you don’t understand, most of this people are born in the mountains, more than 3000 mts where they spend all their life and training (watch the video again!!!). When the Pro tour teams do training camp at the beginning of every season, they go for couple of weeks to places such a Sierra Leona in Spain to training in altitude (

Edwar Herreno I know that, but that hasn't been proved that it made better cyclists. If it made a serious advantage we would see a total domination of the Colombian riders, which isn't the case. The best VO2 max scores weren't set by Colombian athletes, nor by ones who had grown in altitude. And you don't explain why they're so good in their early years. Jamaica, Colombia, Kenya, are known for the flexibility of the federation. And don't be silly, I don't compare Colombian riders to the European ones (especially the Brits).
