La Rolita is a public bus company in Bogotá, offering an all electric fleet with a focus on gender equity that began operating last year. Created as part of Mayor Claudia Lopez’s development plan for the Colombian capital, the project is a bet that public investment can help change perceptions of what mass transit can look like.

Great fleet! It is Good for Columbia’s environment and economy. But good intentions are not enough for sustainable business. I hope them consider how to make a lot of money to make their business bigger and more stable. I think they will do this well!
