Salamina is a municipality located in the north of the department of Caldas. Salamina is one of the 17 heritage towns of Colombia and was declared a National Monument of Colombia in 1982. Salamina is also known as “the light city” of Caldas because there were born many famous Colombian musicians, poets, actors and writers.

Sweet memories of our visit in Salamina and stay at the Hotel Casa de Lola, where we had a warm reception. Funny to watch people in the evening on the Plaza Bolivar after the Colombian Team won their game at the Coppa de America. Most of them were dressed in colours of the Colombian Flag and their dogs as well. From Salamina we went to a tour to the Waxpalms, a very special adventure with a Willys Jeep on a road under construction. We will come back to Salamina, this beautyful little town with very friendly people.

Excelente video. Faltó la parte de la calle San Juan de Dios, el parque de la madre y todo ese sector donde estaban los colegio y la capilla de La Merced y el hospital. Muchas gracias por el recorrido, pues los video que he visto sólo sacan la plaza de Bolívar. 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
