Ok, at @1:29 what she adds is a mix of belll peppers (greend and red) onions, garlic, pepper, cumin, "Seasoning" cilantro, and tomatoes all blended together with water and oil.... Now you don't have to waste your time watching another vid.

El color es más que todo para que no quede tan claro, pero hoy en día hay colorantes que también van condimentados. En Colombia se usa mucho el de la marca Triguisar y en EE.UU. puedes usar Sazón Goya o Bijol.

Thank you!!! I use all different kinds. You can use Triguisar, which is the most popular food coloring we use in Colombia and if you live in the US, you can you Sazón Goya or Bijol.

Could I skip the aliños or food collering? And can you also use chicken or so?

You could but they add a lot of flavor, especially the aliños. You can find the recipe on how to make them in my blog as well. And yes, you can substitute the beef with chicken.
