"There are two ropes, one going and one coming back, which are fixed. They use a makeshift harness and a crotch to give them direction. Everything from food to small animals and even children in backpacks are transported across the cable, which is about 50 years old, 800 meters long, and 300 meters high. The trip lasts about 30 seconds each way and saves the local people around 2 to 3 hours of walking."

It's hard for some to see the whole picture...that steel cable...took strip mining iron ore in Ukraine sending it to Brazil to be made into steel and then to US to be stretched and made into cable...even though it looks like it costs the environment little...the oil and fuel that was burned to make it is alot...I think that if safety and viability for mass transit was considered...an investment for a road would pay off 100 fold in the long run...THATS WHY EVERYONE BUILDS ROADS...

Its not a break because she’s using the whole way and it’s not slowing her down one bit. It’s to hold on to so she can keep sitting up straight. The angle of the line at the other end is what slows her down.
