I moved to court street downtown Brooklyn in 1996 well after most of these made members went away but I knew many that evolved after or made it through this pinch. I had a job working for a high tech medical software company and the wise guy saw me in different rental cars and were so paranoid of me being a FED. Once they found out I was legit they took interest in my business. I told them I sell to doctors and hospitals. “Oh yeah? We know a lot of doctors. Come see us at the coffee shop”. Back then Viagra was brand new and very expensive. I had a connection who worked for Pfizer and he gave me hundreds of samples. So, I paid tribute to some of the made guys at the coffee shop and gave them all to their boss. They were so, so,so happy. Of course then they wanted more.
