Military History: Clashes between the Ilagas and Blackshirts burst into the Mindanao War in 1973

LtGen Raul Urgello, the popular battlefield general known for his bold military campaigns in Central Mindanao, started his career as an intelligence officer right before the Mindanao War in 1973. This is the second part of his personal experiences regarding this period in our country's history.

I was there in 1974. We are the conqueror of Kakar & biniruan. I am a member of the 35th IB. WE BACK in 1974 & 1975. Together with 11th IB and 15th who are the most warrior they got the presidential awardy in time of president Marcos Sr. I remembered that on time of general bat brgy. Kakar was bomb by conventional bomb so called napam bomb 2x.
