I hope you enjoy the game! Sure, you could play the cards in numerical order, they are not in any kind of chronological or thematic arrangement either. The tutorial has a couple of errors in it, a corrected version is available from my website at brtrain.wordpress.com/2017/07/25/colonial-twilight-corrected-tutorial/ Your comments on the browns and tans of the map noted. Someone actually preferred the much more muted colours of the playtest version and got a copy from me separately!
