This is all about colony breeding in African love birds. Merits and demerits explains here. Meetis 1. Less time to maintain 2. No need additional flying cage. Demertis 1. In African love there is 9 species, that not allowed to cross breed. 2. African love birds can't mix with other type of birds. 3. They need separate next box. 4. We can't introduce new small birds In colony. 5. Decease spread easily to all birds same time. 6. Dosage of medicine 7. egging problems. 8. Small chiks dead rate increases. Some tips for colony system given below If you do big cage, and keep more nest box in same height and same size will help in colony breeding. Try to keep same age birds. Breed in same time, for that keep their in same time and nest materials. Use double door for cage to go inside cage to absorb them, and important new birds mustly quarantine them.
