In order to withstand both the extremely hostile weather conditions on Serenis as well as the omnipresent bands of raiders, the wealthier classes have built large, well-protected colonies in the valleys throughout the Badlands. It is the dream of many to one day no longer fight for survival in the Badlands, but to be able to live in one of these colonies. However, the road there is long and paved with many obstacles - if not impossible...
