This is untrue on the latest version, you and the hegemony can find and manufacture XIV legion ships, it makes no sense, lore wise, but the BPs can be found or stolen from the Hegemony. The XIV Onslaught cost more to manufacture them a paragon! (625k vs 500k)

I dont like the paragon, but it is buffed even more now! +100% range with all weapons (60% if PD) is too much, the enemy cant reach you, and the biggest redacted ship that also costs 60 to deploy, have more weapons, but with the paragon shield I can take 2 down at the same time, alone.

@@Falcon0BR the problem is you can deploy 3 moras, a combination of almost 55k hp with damper field as well as 9 mini fliers as complement firepower. one mora could hold a front comfortably, not to mention 3. I'm not talking about player controlled, Im talking about fleet comp. And while you deploy 1 paragon for frontline, my 3 mora could do that and more...

@@Falcon0BR also, paragons usually aren't worth the trouble. It's a good allrounder, but allrounders are almost shit considering their DP in the early to mid game. For that same DP, as I have demonstrated, you can further min max against a singular opponent (like the redacted) more efficiently.

I did it for Eridu... Except I never was commissioned by the hegemony. Stopping the Hegemony's genocide fleets with a bunch of ragtag ships I collected and 3 legions I happened to find was fantastic. Only when the colony grew to size 6 that I installed the AI cores and preemptively declared war on the hegemony (By quickly taking over the entire system).

There is in fact a quest within the vanilla questlines that *can* result in you having a personal conversation with the High Hegemon, in which you can select a limited amount of dialogue options. One of which is to eliminate AI inspections entirely, or lower your trade tariff on open markets. After all, he *is* the High Hegemon, his word is law and whatever deal you make with him is subject to that power.

@@worldf1re41 Shit it must’ve been something I did with Nex after the fact. I forgot about that reaction from him. I’ve also used save scumming to go through all the options and he seems to have different dialogue based on the order in which you choose the options with only a few similarities between them. There’s probably dozens of combinations, as with everything the devs were paying close attention to what they were doing.

I like flying to Chicomoztoc with a small ground operations fleet (5 phantoms, about 1200 marines, standard stuff), buying out the entire shipyard, and throwing a "get stuffed" fleet of like 58 ships at the station before raiding them into oblivion. The ships they send after that all suck, and once it decivilizes they suck even more. Shiny new nanoforge, plus I get to keep my cores

My system defense fleets that are 80% carries handle them pretty well, it's a bunch or Moras and (I think it's from mods) converted Atlas super carries. They usually fill it in with vanguards and Ventures, so it's a Tanky front line while the perdition khopesh and piranha spam pop their onslaught spam. Seriously 5 onslaughts per inspection fleet is a bit much guys

I have done that a few times with high autonomous ship activity, but for some reason the inspection fleets sometimes pull some schronders inspection/attacking orbital station on the other side of the star system where no one has taken notice except for me as i took notice of a inspection fleet fighting station across the 16 LY wide star system, which reminds me, i gotta report that to devs to see if they can poke into that sort of thing.

The only thing between me and colonizing the whole sector is the Hegemony. To keep open trade routes, I just befriend pirates and proceed to discreetly cause their military colonies to fall into chaos. The stealth takedown of Chicomoztoc is a crowning achievement, taking advantage of the chaos of a massive Pirate raid that have access to a nanoforge and blueprints I don't need.

how ot cripple the heg in 2 raids(Vanilla) Steal their Pristine Nanoforge and syncrhotron core. losing the nanonforge means the Heg start fileding ships with D-mods wich is turn due ot how the AI handles their fights causes them to start losing autoresolves, although this raid is craz hard ot pull off early due ot the sheer amount of marines and support needed if you dont engage the station. Losing the syncrhotron is a huge hit on their market share(allowing you swipe it for yourself, for best effect also try ot take the Diktat's one stealthy) and limits the abiltiy of their fleets ot harass due ot forcing the mto downsize or costantly be hit with fuel shortages. after this the heg is no longer a threat in vanilla nd provided you have the defenses anythnig they try to pull you can fight off(although this means they are hostile to you from this point onward.).

My profits are bigger than the inspection price of all factions combined. I am just holding back from destroying the core world minus Tri-Tach, Luddic Path and Luddic Church, cause Luddic Church doesn't care, and Luddic Path is dead (1st victim) and Tri-Tach approves of my usage. The only other factions who don't give a damn are mod ones and usually, they are not in the Core or I am allied with them because they have better policies. Trade Policies. The best way I dealt with them is to live in a Remnant "Do not enter zone."

Yeah, did this myself in my second playthrough. Thankfully it was with Nexerelin mod and i could gift former Hegemony worlds to all and sundry so that market doesn't shrink.
