My client wanted to change her color. This is our first visit on the color change. It isn’t perfect yet but it’s a good start. I didn’t lighten her roots because we wanted a color that would be an easy to touch up the root that also grew out nicer.

Gorgeous! Yes, short hair is harder to maintain indeed. Especially, when you are very busy and constantly workout. I don’t like a lot of heat on my hair, so I usually get hair extensions in. Pin curls are great as well. Thank you for your honesty. You remind me of my hair stylist. I’ve been with her for years. Since the age of 17, now I’m 37. Hair is healthy and strong. I have cut my hair seven ways from Sunday, so totally understand your comment.

@Seven Zen Hair, I do appreciate your videos and am an Elder who when younger always had to sport Honey Blond since the age of 13, Black was not a color that took to me, I was told. Any Whooo, Please do something with with the gray/white haired legends that are out there, you are very schooled in coloring and I'm more interested in keeping the BRIGHTEST SHADE OF GRAY POSSIBLE... I do love your videos and am glad that no matter what shade, texture, Kink, or whatever you are in existence, it's always good when a SISTA knows how to tame the BEAST.

Beautiful work!!!!! Mayi suggests starting with a color remover like Colour B4 or pravana. Then going in with lightner if necessary. I like those because they shrink the color molecules instead of lighten. That way, you have a way cleaner palate. IT LOOKS BEEEEEEEEAUTIFUL!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

You should have done what the client asked and cut her hair short like she wanted it. I thought the color ended up looking patchy with sections that were way much lighter. Disappointed 😞
