I am always glad to see a callout to Mr. Blackjack, his work is vastly unappreciated. What an interesting tour through the use of color in the series. A lot of these went right over my head when I watch the series, so seeing it broken down in this way is terrific!

The video I referenced is the only one of his that I've seen, sadly. But he dug pretty deep into comment sections and animations of Monty's that you can really see paved the way for those early trailers being red white and black.

I just rewatched all the seasons and i saw that while in battle tyrian's eye color changes from yellow to purple while fighting qrow, this idea came back to me after watching this video, just so to let you know

Well... Yeah. But what I meant is that often, the discussion about how colorful characters are is that some, Tyrian especially, are not colorful. His outfit is just white and some leather, whereas he could instead have at least some purple accents. And Calxiyn also brought up how evil characters don't have a "color foil", that heroes and villains' colors don't complement each other.
