If you are able to get through this video in it's entirety without shedding a tear, or at the least finding it very hard to swallow, I question were you stand on this issue as a human being. Thank you for your candor in revealing such raw and heartfelt emotion through this piece. To say it was moving would be an extreme understatement. It was surreal and soul wrenching. May God have mercy on his creation.

Yeah, that clip was shared to me on facebook just now, found the link to the full video, with all credits, in the clip's comments (thanks for posting that, Lauren Joyner) and I shared this instead of just the clip. Facebook clip just seems to want to feature the animated art, totally missing the deeper point of the piece; the discussion in the comments on the clip reflects the disconnect between the people who only watched the clip and those who sought out and watched the full performance. Interesting.

This is amazing art! I have watched this over and over again and find new things each time. The story line and imagery are incredible! The American flag above the white truck is powerful. I noticed the number 1641 on the roof at the end. Is that for the year that slavery was recognized? Thank you for this piece! You and Alexa Meade are true geniuses within your own crafts!
@kahn33338 жыл бұрын
1641 was the beginning of the Confederate War, the American flag evolved from the Confederate flag, the same hate still exists under a different flag. #WhatsOldIsNewAgain
