Both CBs let their man go. The inside CB passed his guy to the Safety. The outside CB (Hunter) passed his guy to the inside CB, so Hunter had no one left to cover except the RB coming outta the backfield (who should have been wide open based on the man-to-man coverage at the snap). But Hunter was eyeing the QB the whole time and broke on the ball. NiCe.

That's not what Travis did he said he just knew what the play was, and the RB was too far inside considering that's where the help was so he knew the ball wasn't going to be thrown inside so he immediately let him go and jumped the route. A really heady play.

I literally didn't even know Travis Hunter was playing BOTH sides of the football today until I pressed rewind (simply because the catch was so amazing that I wanted to see it again) and saw the last name HUNTER and #12. To say that my mind was absolutely blown, considering the type of game he was already having at WR. I really hope he finishes as a finalist for Heisman because the amount of dedication that thats is remarkable

The craziest part is how he intentionally turned onto his back before he hit the ground to make sure the ball didn’t touch the grass and potentially lose possession. It was a conscious decision at the last second. I can’t remember seeing even an NFL corner do that before.

Coach Prime should be the proudest Dad ever because his son threw for one of the best performances ever. Ever!! That and Hunter's defensive plays are Heisman worthy. Colorado is gonna chain wins together after this. They ain't thinking oh well 6 or 7 wins and get to bowl game. They're ready for USC, UCLA and Utah right about now. It's coaching and priorities in right place. After the game so much belief and processing God. That's why they will win: on and off the field.

Hunter actually baited the entire TCU offense into the historic interception. On the previous play the running bck was wide open on the outside for a touchdown. Morris threw inside. The very next play, the same action, running back was outside. Hunter saw the prior play as a touchdown, knew they'd come back to it. He came off his man inside and made a historic interception at the goal line. Colorado has 3 Heisman candidates on this team. They can't win a defensive game, but Prime will keep them loose. The QB made every right read today, exeptional talent.
