Colorado State University has a great list of shade trees for the Front Range. The page numbering is really wonky in this PDF, so you have to read it in a alternating fashion. chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/static.colostate.edu/client-files/csfs/pdfs/trees_for_frontrange.pdf

It is definitely on! We are doing a big patch of sunflowers this year. Can’t wait to see them in full bloom.

Terrific video, thank you! Do you have any top recommendations for flowering plants that can stand up to Castle Rock 100+ degree full sun temps in an exposed garden bed?

Are you looking for annuals or perennials? Zinnias and marigolds do well in heat. It's just tough to plant them in heat because of transplant shock.
