Coach Prime is making sure his coaching staff is paid, the facilities get a great upgrade(weight room), and more. Money is not the ultimate thing for him, he ought to be paid between $9.75m & $12.25m x 5 or 7 years. His coaches need a 10% to 15% raise as well. Let's bump this up a bit. He's outplayed the $29.5m contract. Coach Prime is going to slowly build a juggernaut or a monster program.

Yea but he better learn how to run the football that's all i got to say. That team should of won no less than 11 or 12 games with that team

@ this is why the massive changes have come to the team, a new strength coach with a long list of qualificatiobsbwith a track record to prove it. So if you gonna hate, keep up to the changes. Coach Prime is no slouch

The main thing is like he said now he can coach. his sons left, he did his job, and now this is what college football should be scared of. now he going to have full concentration on football watch what he do to Quentin and juju and a couple other low key 3-4 players rather than hunt the 5 ⭐️ hype. He can now choose his players like Clemson coach and run college football the next 5 but I want more

Most of what you are saying I agree with except"slowly" building a juggernaut. Its happening fast. And the contract should be 10 years 150 million. Make the buyout so big its harder to leave. We can't look at Coach Prime the same as the other college coaches.

Great commentary of Travis. Now only will people take a step back and be more sensitive. A number of the comments of Travis relationship was bullying and, in some cases, hateful. Blessings and continued success to you and Travis. Travis giving is a blessing. You will always be bless.

Something tells me winning was not the only problem at Colorado before Coach Sanders arrived. This sounds just like Jackson State. Deion (Coach Sanders) Delivers massively, but the old guard is not on board with the Coach Sanders! What the heck is going on in these schools? He is building a juggernaut get out his way! Dang it!

Speaking on Deion and as Buffs fan of 37-years. I felt that all this talk of Deion to the NFL in 2025 was a smokescreen. No league owner is going to the draft without a HC. Shedeur and Shilo don't even have a landing spot until the draft, and even though Deion has clout and a vested interest on where his sons land, Dallas was never in a position to guarantee a draft or trade for Shedeur before the draft, Deion is staying in Boulder for one more year, in my opinion. He has no desire to coach in the NFL without his sons. This is just fodder to feed the news cycle and drive up the narrative that CU Athletics needs to do more to keep Prime in Boulder.

The narrative about this contract negotiation at Colorado needs to shift a little bit. Colorado’s ability to generate cash is heavily influenced by TV contracts, which are negotiated by the Big 12. The Big 12 needs to help Colorado earn the dollars that Coach Prime has delivered to the TV networks. Just because Colorado played every game on a national TV broadcast. All those ad dollars earned when Fox, ESPN, CBS, and ABC broadcast a Buffaloes game didn’t flow back to Boulder. That TV money earned by the networks gets allocated every which way, based upon the financial arrangements the networks have made with the Big 12, the B1G, the SEC, etc. When the Big 12 gets its TV money, those dollars get allocated to every team in the Big 12 based on that conference’s allocation model. When a CU game is a sellout in Nebraska, Lubbock, or UCF, that ticket revenue at away games doesn’t flow directly back to Colorado. Coach Prime subsidized a lot more of the college football than just the reported economic impact made to the local Boulder economy. It is within the interest of B12 commissioner Brett Yormark and every athletic director in the Big 12 to get Deion Sanders paid, because Deion Sanders provided a windfall for TV networks, and every team CU played. When Coach Prime brings top tier SEC level eyeballs to college football, Colorado should be compensated with SEC level TV money. Expecting Colorado to come up with $10M / year when Colorado’s TV money is less than half of what programs in the SEC and B1G make is a problem. This deal would be done already if CU was getting paid by the networks the share that Colorado generated.

I agree that people can be weird on social media but why does Travis need a security guard? I love him and he's popular and in today's estimation somewhat of a celebrity but a security guard is a bit much.

I wanted to share my thoughts on the situation surrounding Travis Hunter and his wife. Honestly, I don't believe the pressures they're facing are solely from fans. I suspect the NFL's involvement is more significant than we realize. With the potential for Travis to receive a substantial financial investment, it seems like the league’s psychologists and investigators are closely monitoring him. This situation highlights how sports is as much about entertainment as it is about performance. Travis's rising fame-amplified by platforms like Coach Prime’s media presence and various shows-has certainly boosted his draft stock, but it also puts him under immense scrutiny. By stepping away from social media, he may have inadvertently shown how easily he can be influenced, which could raise concerns about his stability as an investment. In a way, being a public figure means walking a fine line; you can only stay in the spotlight for so long. His decision to pull back might do more harm than good, both for his career and for the perception of his brand. I hope he finds a way to navigate this pressure while staying true to himself. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
