1. That Shedeur to Travis deep route is lethal. Travis should have 1,100 yards this season, baring injuries. O Miller is the x factor this year. He is not the fastest but he is tall, has hops and can slip behind a defense to kill them midrange and deep. 3. Why is there so much miscommunication on defense?!? This is the second year under a different regime. There has got to be a fix for this now because it is going to be bad, again, during the season. 4. Though i like how efficient the offense was in the red zone it means there was zero pass rush. This is what the defense looked like last year. Prime needs 2 or three more defensive lineman from the portal - now.

I’m glad you asked about Defense bc I used to ask on every post and all I got was criticism for asking. I’ve been following Prime since JSU so I’m not a hater. It’s just a fair question based on the eye test and my eyes tell me the defense is 2-3 levels behind the offense. I’m relieved to see we’ve improved our chance at running the ball but we couldn’t stop a dragonfly on the field right now which signals massive problems for pass rush. All that being said, I have to believe the “new plan” is arriving after the spring game when the transfer portal reopens.

@@Stardust414 fam, I am not doing the hype train this year. I was all in last year ignoring what my eyes saw just to be like #skoBuffs! Not this year. While I am a huge supporter I am realistic. Everyone is not a “dawg” and Prime is still 2 years away from the team he wants to put on the field. Now, if they win consistently during the 2024 campaign then he will have his pic from anyone in the country. With that said “I” see that they need depth on the d-line. I like the starters but I see way too many gaping holes up the middle for running backs to get through. I see too much confusion and no one calling out directions or them not listening to each other. How may 12 men on the field and offside calls were had last year!?! I believe in the offense but they lost a lot of games by less than 10 points. The defense has to be accountable and stout. I don’t need Shilo to have the team lead in tackles. Hopefully this is A LOT of nothing…but I see “something” that could be worrisome down the road.
