Unpopular opinion. But Tech fans during the Fox Big Noon event, at the huge tailgate party on campus, in the stands, and after the game were really friendly. I mean they offer you a beer, welcome you to Lubbock, and are good natured in the bleachers around me. Tech are as welcoming as a fan base as exists in the B12 especially in comparison to my interactions at CSU, Nebraska, UCF, and even Kstate, Okie Lite, Baylor, TCU, ASU, I’ve had in years past. The Tortilla throwing was jump the shark bad. And the ball boy was dumb. But Tech was a fun road trip. Would go back again. I’m all for Red Raiders offering me free drinks and telling me how awesome their vacation in Colorado was. They just look bad on TV
