Everywhere wolves have rehabitated in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming they have decimated the elk and deer herds. I'm a hunter (I've been hunting big game for 36 years) and actually don't mind sharing with the wolves, but they are going to be a huge problem with our deer and elk herds as well as the moose, the pronghorn and bighorn sheep etc...none of these prey animals are conditioned at all to deal with something like wolf packs. Wolf reintroductions need to be very, very slow and careful and as soon as healthy packs are established they need to be controlled thru hunting...i'm not at all interested in hunting wolves, but predators need to be managed, even unchecked populations of coyotes can really hurt deer and pronghorn numbers. When bears are left unchecked, they can decimate elk and deer herds very quickly...wolves are like 100x the threat of coyotes or bears to our big game. There needs to be a balance and it needs to be in humanity's favor, not the wolves...and hunters and ranchers are the ones that are really footing the bill for this whether you like it or not. If this project is left to be run by unbalanced animal rights fanatics, everything is going to end badly with this.

@@Redstoneprime316 not facts... You fail to even use easily observed facts such as the fact that we have predators everywhere and no prey species is decimated until wolves come into play. And when you have areas where wolves have never been exterperated, they have not killed off their prey because the prey species have learned to adapt. You also fail to recognize that if predators killed all of their prey, they would have nothing to eat. You're not someone that thinks a whole lot before you open your mouth apparently.

I live exactly where it's being thought the pair are denning up, I don't hunt, nor a rancher. One thing failed to mention here is that wolves will go after the weak so in turn the make for better hunting game. The deer have adapted, every hunting season blm land I get herds my back valley safe private land, they got the hunters outsmarted
