Refs made bad calls against both teams and it equaled out. They made questionable and1 calls but called them both ways. Only issue with the last push off is that the foul would have allowed Florida to shoot foul shots since they were in the bonus. But at the end of the day, bad officiating isn't really an issue as long as it's not one sided

This was the best game of the tournament between these teams, who had never met before. I felt they were both better than their seeds given and this should have been a round of 32 game. I feel for Florida as it was such a fun year to watch guys like Clayton and Richard play for the Gators. Hopefully they reload and come back next year and make a run!

NCAA official championships don't start until 1939, so the SEC has 12 NCAA Men Basketball Championships, and half of those are before the 80's. The ACC has 15 national championships, 11 of them are from the modern era (64 teams), and have won 3 in the past 10 years. If you need to bring up championships that happened before desegregation, then you've already lost that debate.

What a game. I dont know if i ever remember a tourney game that both teams put up a 100 pts. Oregon kept Colorado in the 60s the other day in the pac conference championship. This makes that performance all that more impressive. Much respect to a good florida team. Colorado is much better than a 10 seed, so florida kind of got a bad match up here. The pac got really disrespected this season. Oregon had to win the conference championship to get in. And Colorado had to win a first 4 out game to get in.
