Colorado Wildlife Officials Believe Wolf Pack Scavenged Elk Carcass

Officials with Colorado Parks and Wildlife say they have already seen signs of wolf activity in the northwest part of the state.

The fact that urban dwellers get to vote on wolves which are only in rural areas is ridiculous, You don’t get to vote for a city mayor if you live in the county. These urban wolf lovers have never seen how these wolves destroy elk and deer populations look to Idaho’s reintroduce program. Ether these folks are sick or have never seen a pack attack and kill and elk or deer they rip at the animals back leg to disable it then they come at it and rip it apart while it’s alive which can take over an hour on a elk who doesn’t want to die . People please get a clue it’s not 1885 anymore we don’t need them in our eco system

Colorado is too populated for wolves. They are twice the size of a large dog, and will attack humans, let alone cattle and sheep. Ranchers will take them out quickly.

these wolfs are Bad on elk herds Do not let them GET A foot hold in your state. We no first hand what they have done here in Idaho. they are Bad news they brought them in from way up north Canada. even the Canadian biologist said are you sure you want them down there these things are big 150 pounds to 190 and they eat mostly elk.

No the millions crossing the boarders need more space to breed for millions more Please can you take 32 people into your house and 62 thousand dippers that the gov will give you free and 50 dollars a month to take them in, you may be able to make money selling the dippers un soiled before they fill up the land fills.

W M there are seperate sub species of wolves but their are only 2 (possibly 3 if you include the eastern wolves that are hybridising with coyotes) species of wolves the red wolf and the grey wolf, the classic wolf you see in documentaries, tv shows and movies is the grey wolf and they inhabit or used to inhabit basically all of Eurasia and North America prior to being hunted out

Ok but listen they used to be here originally, Aswell as with Brown bears 🐻 and humans killed them off. Therefore i think we should help to get them back in our state

@@JakeDawn Colorado isn’t ready for it🤷🏼 Little to no research went into it wildlife introductions shouldn’t even be on the ballot take wolverines for example more recent then the wolves and it is completely up to CPW the people who should be in charge not the general public considering most the people voting yes don’t live close to any of the actual reintroduction spots. I love wolves and hoped to have them in the state one day but with CWD and wolves they’re going to drive elk and deer as well as bear, pronghorn etc. numbers way down. I just hope they stay true to the management at the 200-300 range unlike when the initiative was started for the country and we weren’t allowed to manage them until the population reached double the number they said they’d originally start managing them at.
