The downpipe install was a PITA!!! 2018 Duramax Diesel Colorado gets a full exhaust including downpipe, single straight through muffler, and a tune.

Just wanted to say thanks, My friend ordered the kit and installed yesterday. The brand is not by pro flow any longer, He received the p1 race exhaust (i’m pretty sure it’s the same company) and they added a bend so the exhaust didn’t touch the cross bar. Installing took me all day 😂, Getting the cat out was was the worst, and I had to drop the transmission to get the particulate filter out, but the performance gains are totally worth it. Feels like I, I meant he 😂, got a brand new truck again!!! Thanks again

That straight through design is quieter than a straight pipe much more than you think and the tone will be different also

Thought about deleting 17 2.8, but how do you get by the yearly inspection? You said there are no codes, but what about the 6 or seven sensors in the exhaust system. Very informative video. I like it!

Ok, brother, bought the flow pro turbo back complete exhaust, and I already had the duramax tuner (with the live hook up). I've already tuned my ZR2 and I getting ready to install the complete exhaust. The problem I have is, when I email the tuner company for help, the stated they don't do the delete. Can you help out with this I have 63k on my 2018 ZR2 and it just started to give me exhaust related codes (making the truck NOT TRUST WORTHY) Thanks, and hope to hear from you soon

Hi, love your videos, really concerning buying this kit for my 2016 Z71, powertrain warranty is almost finished. I was wondering if your Canadian friend noticed any difference in the oil. I change my oil , and after 5 min of driving’s, it’s black. My brother blew his engine on his 2011 Fix Or Repair Daily F350, from a clogged particulate filter. That’s my primary reason I want to delete my off road Canadian truck. 😂

Heat shield has to come off and you access most of the bolts through the fender well. Either way be ready for cut and bruised hands lol.

I have a cat back 3" on my colorado (holden but same motor) Unfortunately here in new zealand a full delete would make the truck unroadworthy (emissions) 😔 but man does yours sound great. I also installed a snorkel and combined with the cat back it sounds pretty good now. I also noticed a power increase but that might be due to placebo. Looking foward to tuning the punchy little baby duramax

This is 3", which is all that's needed on a 2.8L. Stock may also be 3" or 2.5"

@@matt13ross with other intakes yea. I would probably just do a drop in. S&B actually does a lot better testing then most people. They do a good job of giving the benefits of a stock box but as if it had been engineered for performance. There have been quite a few reviews on it showing the mpg and power gains. Now if we’re are talking K&N or AFE, I would do a drop in and gut the intake pipe of muffler.
